10. Secret Number
Secret Number is a South Korean girl group formed by Vine Entertainment.
The group debuted on May 19, 2020, with the single album Who Dis? with the five-member lineup of Léa, Dita, Jinny, Soodam, and Denise.
The sixth and seventh members, Zuu and Minji joined the group in October 2021. Denise departed from the group on February 5, 2022.
According to the group, their name means that “Everyone has a secret number (for a password or PIN code), which is usually a birthday, anniversary, or some other special number.

9. Oh!GG

Girls’ Generation-Oh!GG is the second unit of the already popular K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation, formed in 2018. The thing is that in 2017, three members of the group decided to leave the agency and the group itself, leaving the group on hiatus. However, the group wasn’t disbanded – in August 2018, the new unit of the group consisting of the remaining members, debuted with the single “Lil Touch”. It’s considered one of the most successful female K-pop group units!
8. EXID

EXID (short for “Exceed in Dreaming”), is a girl group under AB Entertainment with five talented members: LE, Soliji, Hani, Hyerin, and Jeonghwa. The band made their debut in 2012 with the single “Holla” but it was not until 2014, that the group gained popularity with the hugely successful single “Up & Down”. At the beginning of 2017, EXID released the second Chinese single “Up & Down” and removed the original one from their YT channel.
7. ITZY

ITZY is a South Korean girl group consisting of five members: Ryujin, Yuna, Yeji, and Chaeryeong. The group was founded by JYP Entertainment, debuting on February 12, 2019, with It’z Different.
Being one of the most recent recruits to the K-POP music scene, the group has massive influences from EDM and Techno and Future House.
The group has gained a massive following on Youtube, with Billboard confirming that Dalla Dalla broke the record for the most viewed K-POP debut music video in 24 hours, with over 100 million views.
6. Mamamoo

Mamamoo was formed by RBW Entertainment in 2014 and is a South Korean girl group, officially debuting on June 19, 2014, with the single Mr. Ambiguous. Mamamoo is recognized for its retro R&B, Jazz concepts, and strong vocal harmonies. Critics considered the group as one of the best K-POP acts in 2014. Since then, the group has redesigned itself producing many incredible songs.
5. Everglow

EVERGLOW is the latest girl group to be released on the KPOP scene, debuting on March 18, 2019, with the album, Arrival of Everglow, reaching number six on the Geon Digital Chats.
The group consists of six members, Sihyeon, Mia, Onda, Yiren, Aisha, and E:U. Everglow is renowned for its energetic stage performances and exceptional singing talent. Their beauty is famous throughout the music industry, gaining massive popularity throughout Japan, and in 2019 were nominated for four industry awards.
4. (G)I-DLE
(G)I-DLE is formed by Cube Entertainment in 2018 and is one of the newest established bands to reach the Top 10 list. The group consists of six members: Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua, and Soojin.
(G)I-DLE KPOP group debuted on May 2, 2018, with their first single, I Am. The group members compile the winners from the rap competition Unpretty Rapstar. Their unique twist of hip-hop brings a sense of reality to the KPOP scene, landing them 4th on our Top 10 List.
One of the latest singles of the (G)I-DLE group is called “Oh my god” and got 120M views on Youtube since it was debut on Apr 6, 2020. Watch it below:
3. Red Velvet

- Members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Joy, Yeri
The Red Velvet has four members: Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, and Joy. Debuted on August 1, 2014, with their digital release Happiness. Formed by S.M. Entertainment, they decided to add the newest member Yeri, in 2015.
They went on to make various hits like Ice Cream, Dumb Dumb, and Russian Roulette, all reaching the top five on the Geon Digital Chats. The group is well known for their bright on-stage appearances in red velvet attire, often dubbed as a Duel Concept.

2. Twice

Twice is a girl group formed in 2015 by JYP Entertainment. The group has nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu through the reality show Sixteen.
The debut album’s release was on October 20, 2015, but it wasn’t until 2016 when they rose to fame with Cheer up, a song that reached number 1 on the Gaon Digital Charts. This song got over 400M views on Youtube, and you can listen to it here:
