It can be scary if you were a room with a group of strangers and you might be tempted to bring along a friend. However, it is best that you go into the events all by yourself.

This is because when your friend comes along, you might end up talking to your friend instead of talking to other individuals in the room. Bringing a friend to an event can also hinder your interaction with others.

3. Think like a peacock – stand out from the crowd!

In any event, people are looking for different individuals that they can talk to. For that reason, it is best that you are noticeable. You should make a good first impression so that they will approach you.
